Description of GY-US42 Flight Control Ultrasonic Range Module for Arduino Pixhawk 3-5V IIC
GY-US42 is a low cost, high quality range sensor module.
Working voltage 3-5v, small power consumption, small size, easy installation.
Its working principle is that the probe emits ultrasonic waves, irradiated to the measured object, the probe receives the return sound waves, the use of time difference, calculate the actual distance. There are three ways to read the module data, that is, serial UART (TTL level), IIC, pulse PWM mode,
Serial baud rate of 9600bps and 115200bps, can be configured, there are continuous, ask the output in two ways, you can save the power settings.
IIC can modify the internal address, to facilitate an IIC bus at the same time access multiple modules. Pulse PWM output, same as SR04.
The module can be adapted to a different working environment and connected directly to the microcontroller.

IIC mode can be directly connected with APM, Pixhawk, and other flight control.
